On Saturday night at 9pm,we went to Pasir Ris pond.The weather was good,luckily. And there were lots of anglers. Luck wasn't on our side though as we didn't catch any fish. It was such a bummer especially after being there for 6 hours and seeing other anglers on our left and right,having catches. Well 1 thing I have learnt is that fishing is so unpredictable! And solely luck-based. It has been our 2nd trip there and still no catches. Being a very impatient person,I was already restless. I accidentally spilled some of Nailah's cereal on my lap too. We ended the night with great determination to return tomorrow.

The next day,we reached the pond earlier,at 8pm. We were very determined to catch at least 1 fish haha.
The rain didn't dampen her spirits!
And...
In less than 2 minutes hubby threw his bait in...
WE GOT OUR VERY 1ST FISH!
It was a wet night as it rained a little for about 30 minutes. We caught 2 fishes and called it a night at 2am. I have to admit that I kinda falling in love with fishing. And fishing has definitely exercised some patience in me ;)
Today,I deep-fried 'our very 1st fish' in a Sweet & Sour dish along with chilli kangkong. The chilli kangkong wasn't spicy enough though. So,more chilli paste next time.It was so delicious! Hubby and I have decided never to eat Sweet & Sour fish at any eating outlets again cos we can cook our very own!
Nailah have started to learn standing on her own while getting hold of something. And she can crawl too! She is now able to sit steadily and blabbers alot.
